PASSAGES: June Kilgore

Noted West Virginia artist June Kilgore died today at a Hospice House in Huntington. Two months ago she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her funeral will take place Friday, Dec. 29, 12:30 p.m., at Chapman Funeral Home in Huntington. We’ll post a story obituary here shortly about one of the state’s premiere abstract artists, or watch for it in the Thursday, Dec. 28 Charleston Gazette.

Medical doctor and photographer Brittain McJunkin is among the many artists showing small works of art at the Art Store , now through December. McJunkin comes to the Art Store with a long list of exhibition credits to his name, among them five West Virginia Juried Exhibitions.
