There Stands the Glass
Welcome to ‘Blog In My Soup: After Hours.’
So the Red Carpet on the East End might not be Charleston’s most “upscale” watering hole, but the fact remains they don’t call it the Red Carpet for nothing. If you’re looking for great service and drinks that aren’t watered down, then the Red Carpet is second to nowhere in this town.
Plus, there’s no goofy dress code, and no need to worry about a $20 minimum since it’s cash only.

The Red Carpet is a blight upon the East End. Protected by well connected politicos, gamblers and dope-smoking Gazette reporters the Red Carpet Lounge is the center of many problems on the East End.

Fello Anonymous,
Go to the Vandalia and have an over-priced apple martini.
And I wish the Rug was still as you describe. It was once but these days I think it has gotten pretty tame.
And just what are these “problems”. The worst problem coming out of the Rug these days is a set of dentures stuck in a tough steak.

I agree w/ the part about the dope-smoking Gazette reporters.

Ooooo, ripping on Gazette reporters. People you don’t even know aside from the profiles in your minds. You guys are such iconoclasts. Down with the MSM!–>
