O-80 & I went there recently as leaf peepers we went from Elkins, up to Thomas, and those windmills on top of the mountain above Thomas were surreal, awsome to see. We had the Middle eastern appetizer plate. It was filled with hummus and two other dips served with pita chips. Delish, and the Mountain Momma,Oatmeal dark beer was great. Check it out!!!

Nicely done, sweets! I wish I could’ve been there with you (minus the yoga part), but I look forward to giving the Fiddle a try next time we’re in that neck of the woods.

We should take Al and Bella Donna’s advice and catch some music there sometime.

I LOVE the Purple Fiddle. Discovered it on my first trip to Canaan Valley back in 2003 and made it a point to stop by on subsequent trips.

Oddly enough, I’ve never tried the food there; just had a Diet Coke while catching some music or talking with fellow tourists.

Sounds like I have a good reason to go back.

Next time you’re in the area, check out the Purple Fiddle for breakfast. They have fantastic breakfast sandwiches on organic breads. Also a great place to catch music on weekend nights.
