InsideScape: Looking up to heaven

I have not spent much time indoors on this photo blog, except for here and here. This, though, is a worthy place to go indoors, one of Charleston’s most stunning architectural wonders. I speak, mon chere, of the dome of First Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Leon Sullivan Way and Virginia Street. To make this shot (really, almost a photo illustration) I had to Photoshop dramatically the contrast and saturation just to get a sense of the scene brought back from the darkened room. The space is akin to a European cathedral experience.
