Check out the secretary of the West Virginia blues society Dick Patton, trying out an acoustic original during the Friday, May 11 Open Stage at Unity in North Charleston. Patton also host The Front Porch Showcase, a monthly open mic and podcast on the fourth Friday of each month at Timothy-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church in Hurricane. (The next one is Friday, May 25)

I had the opportunity to film an amazing band from Massachusetts called Arms and Sleepers at the Empty Glass.
