WV METAL FEST

Pictured above is Jason Adkins, Blackdamp frontman and owner of Tomi-o music in Hinton. Adkins is preparing for the all ages WV Metal Fest show at the state fair grounds in Lewisburg, June 29 and 30. Tickets are available in advance for $20 at Tomi-o music, Red Dragon Tattoo in Rainelle, Cheap Thrills Records in Beckley and Princeton, Smoker Friendly in Lewisburg, and Awesome Ink Tattoo in Beckley. All tickets will be $25 at the gate on the first day of the show.

WHO: The Black Knots

Huntington thrashers, the Black Knots, are waiting to come to Charleston. Check out Bobby Balboa (left) on guitar, Jerry Lee Queen plays bass and vocals, Captain D on drums, and Greg Gatlin on lead guitar and back up vocals. Black Knots are set to play at Julie J’s, in Charleston, with Porcelain Smile on June 15. June 21, the Knots will fill the Empty Glass with Shotgun Kelly and the Dig-Its.
