Lo, it was foretold. There would come an evening so packed with quality area rock shows. So packed that even the local music bloggers saluted, and devoted their time to alerting people to the events.

Friday, August 24th has four shows between Charleston, Huntington and Morgantown that we are seeking help to cover. Quality shows; the kind you’ve come to expect out of Gatecrasher.

First, Adamfest at The Sound Factory features some of our favorite acts. This is the headlining event as far as we care. See the flyer for details, times and costs.

Second, Black Knots and Rose City welcome Jimmy and the Teasers to the Blue Parrot that night, right around the corner from Adamfest.

Let’s say you’re not lucky that night: you’re in Huntington. The Red Velvet is at the V Club with Morgantown indie stars Librarians and DJ Charlie Brown Superstar.

Magic Town indie rockers The Ones That Got Away are at Fuel in Morgantown, which we recommend if yer up there in the land of burning couches. TOTGA is one of our favorite bands and their ironic indie moustaches are way more indie than yours. Hoping for pics of that show.

We hope to get people to take pics of the V Club show. The Red Velvet’s 6-song debut CD is great, and they’re getting ready for a new one.
