VIDEO: Threefold Theory (live @ 2007 Regatta)

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Scott Niles, singer-guitarist for Huntington’s Threefold Theory, called “Goodbye Miss Beautiful” an “anti-love song” but check it out and see what you think. This is the band performing during the 2007 Sternwheel Regatta in Charleston, WV.

PIX: The Ones That Got Away caught on film!

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Praise the Internet gods! We got hooked up with pics of The Ones That Got Away from Derek Reese. Taken from a packed show at Fuel in Morgantown 8.24, TOTGA drummer Derek Thomas had this to say about the smothering atmosphere…

“Fuel’s a tough place for pics ‘cuz it’s a small, weird layout and no real stage. I can say it was hot and wet up in therrr. Like real hot, no AC, place was at capacity, which is only 50-75 people, but packed wet. And like real wet in that a dude was sweeping water from the stage area during the opening band’s set.”

“However, it was a dope show. Everybody seemed to have a blast and most made it through the whole set.”

“It was an exercise in spontaneous combustion resistance.”

Thanks to the ones!

EVENT: Treasure Cat CD release show @ 123 Pleasant St.

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

Hey yeah! One of our favorite acts from Morgantown is the instru-metal three-piece Treasure Cat. Fronted by former Karma To Burn member Will Mecum, the band released their full-length debut “Choice Cuts” a few weeks ago at 123 Pleasant Street in Morgantown. Check out some great pics taken by photographer Robert Williams here and more solo pics below. He’s totally got the Gatecrasher spirit. Oh yeah and he’s a pretty good picture taking guy, too!

Check out his website here.
