Thanks, folks. I had expected that to be one of those posts no one replies to, so I was kind of surprised to see comments on here. I really appreciate it.

And primalscreamx–yeah, I’m quiet and reserved (that’s a nicer way of saying I’m dull). But I still want my @#%&ing shirt.

By the way–today’s my birthday. I turned 42.

There’s a time and place for everything. When the kids go back to school is a logical time to feel reclusive. That’s a great photo with a terrific model.

And you’re right…insomnia DOES suck. I battle it on a regular basis and I can’t help but think that most other moms do, too. At least thinking that provides some consolation when I’m fighting a bout of it. It helps to imagine that somewhere out there, tossing and turning fitfully in the night, there are others who were unable to con Mr. Sandman into paying a visit to their pad, too. Kind of mean spirited, but oh well. Whatever it takes to get by.

Hope your insomnia passes quickly and that you’re back to your old self soon.
