Doug Van Gundy
Doug Van Gundy of Elkins earned an MFA in poetry from Goddard College and is a poet and old-time musician. His writing has appeared in Fretboard Journal, The Charleston Gazette, and Goldenseal. His collection of poetry, A Life Above Water, was published by Red Hen Press. He teaches composition and literature at the Gaston Caperton Center of Fairmont State University.

Geoffrey Fuller
Popular Charleston writing workshop leader Goeffrey Fuller also coaches individual writers who are finishing larger projects for publication or personal satisfaction. A former textbook editor and business writing teacher, he is working on a manuscript about the 1970 murders of two Morgantown coeds, with a working premise that the wrong person is in jail.

Sandy Tritt
Sandy Tritt is a writer, editor, and speaker, as well as founder of Inspiration for Writers, an editing service for aspiring writers. She is president emeritus of West Virginia Writers and has led workshops at the West Virginia Writers Conference, the West Virginia Book Festival, the Alabama Writers Conclave, and the Appalachian Writers Association. Sandy’s short stories and novels have received many awards and have been published in literary magazines and local journals such as Gambit, Confluence, Allegheny Echoes, Mountain Voices, The Northwestern, and Mountain Echoes, in which she was the July 2004 featured writer. In addition, she has published Everything I Know, Inspiration for Writers Tips and Techniques Workbook, and several technical manuals.

Robert Tinnell
In addition to the graphic novel Feast of the Seven Fishes, Robert Tinnell has directed such films as Believe with Elisha Cuthbert and Frankenstein and Me with Burt Reynolds. More recently, he wrote the hit graphic novels The Black Forest and The Wicked West, as well as the screenplay Bobby At Work, an adaptation of an Anthony Bourdain novel. He is currently re-writing his screenplay, Sacrifice, for Fortress Entertainment.

Daniel Boyd
Daniel Boyd teaches communications at West Virginia State University and is founder of the Paradise Film Institute. His award-winning feature films include Chillers, Paradise Park, and Strangest Dreams. As a Fulbright scholar, he has filmmaking and screenwriting at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
