Frank X Walker, founding member of the Affrilachian Poets, will read at the W.Va. Book Festival, noon, Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009.

At 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, Mark DeFoe will present a program on music and poetry. DeFoe’s poetry wins awards. Click here to read one of his poems.

More than 30 authors will be headlining the free annual books event, including Denise Giardina and others. Visit the festival web site for more information that offers something for people young and old.
