One of the most revered RPGs ever is about to be reborn – SquareEnix has announced plans to remake its classic “Chrono Trigger” for the Nintendo DS.

Unlike recent Square remakes “Final Fantasy III” and “Final Fantasy IV,” “Chrono Trigger” will not be receiving a graphical update. Instead, the game will feature the same look and feel as the original, which first appeared on the Super NES in 1995.

The game will include a new dungeon, a wireless play mode and some touch-screen functionality. “Chrono Trigger” is set to be released later this year.
