The Davisson Brothers Band description on their Myspace homepage - “Country/bluegrass/jam band“ - doesn’t begin to communicate the manic, psychobilly pleasure of this group from, ahem, “Nashville, W.Va.” as their page also claims (though they’re certainly ready for the real Nashville and more). They’re certain to pull off a strong show for the Strong Man Competition in Charleston, W.Va., when they play a free 6 p.m. concert Friday, Sept. 12 at Haddad Riverfront Park. Before you go, ake a listen to “Big City Hillbilly” off the band’s forthcoming CD. P.S. Clarksburg, W.Va., is their real home turf but they’re not there much, gigging 200-plus shows a year across the East Coast.
