Film Festival to Present Short Films on Multiple Sclerosis

MS Awareness Week takes place March 10th– 15th. To support the over 3200 who live with MS everyday in West Virginia and to move us closer to a world free of MS, the West Virginia Division of the National MS Society has organized an Awareness Day film festival to take place on Wednesday March 12, 2008 from 2 PM to 3 PM at the Capitol Theater located on Summers Street in Charleston, WV. The festival will feature several short films directed and produced by those living with MS.

“We are encouraging people to join the movement to move us closer to a world free of MS,” said Renée Young, Regional Manager of the West Virginia Division. “Many have trouble imagining what their lives would be without being able to move. People living with MS understand that moving isn’t always a guarantee and MS Awareness Week is an opportunity for everyone who wants to do something about MS now to get involved.”
