Ken has a brand-new red jeep, visiting with Shirley Stewart Burns
Ken with his 2008 jeep - ready for a parade!
Ken Hechler was tired of people asking him where his red jeep was…….so be traded in his silver jeep this week, and got a great new, super-duper 2008 model, in red. Everyone was immediately pleased……..what is the world going to become when Ken Hechler, license plate “Ken-Do,” is NOT driving a red jeep…..
Ken Do - license plate number….Ken has had at least 8 jeeps….some stolen…

He also visited with one of WV’s leading historians, Shirley Stewart Burns, at the Cultural Center. Burns’ book, “Bringing Down the Mountains - the Impace of Mountaintop Removal on Southern West Virginia Communities” is one of WVU Press’ most popular new books, and has received widespread national praise. Burns will be editing the book companion to Mari-Lynn Evans future film on mountaintop removal mining. Hechler has already submitted his own contribution to the book.
