Kelley Thompson is one of WV’s newest and most active filmmakers. In May of this year he presented his largest project so far, “The Widen Project.” He has sold more than 300 copies, giving away more than 100 copies.

He also recently filmed the Iris Bell Tribute, the Charleston Light Opera Guild’s production of “Grease,” and completed a medical film on an artificial robot used to teach medical students how to give spinal taps. Congrats to Kelley. Hopefully he will be working sometime soon as my cinematographer for a planned film about the Paint Creek/Cabin Creek Mine Wars. You can e-mail him at - killer64@suddenlink.net

Kelley worked with Jim Damron on the medical film. Damron has worked on many films, TV shows, commercials, and a lot more - and apparently is willing to work with anyone, even someone like Kelley! Filmmakers often ask me if I know anyone who can do good voice-overs…..apparently, Damron is the man!
