Rudy Panucci, Melanie Larch and friends from Radio Free Charleston took over the South Charleston Museum - La Belle Theater on Saturday night, October 25th. It was his third show at the Museum, and his first Halloween Special. Rudy gave it his all, but unfortunately, only 18 people came.

I stayed to watch the world premiere of his “lost” (in his closet) film, “Weird Wonderful - The Braxton County Monster.” The 24 minute film was made as a proposed series about the state. I enjoyed the film greatly, especially seeing the interviews with Jim Haught, who was a beginning reporter for the Charleston Gazette in the early 1950s when the Monster was seen by several people. I also liked seeing Haught’s sidekick, and fellow Gazette reporter Terry Marchall. The interviews with witnesses, a local amateur astronomer, and UFO authors were also interesting.

Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars, and Stephen Beckner (who also directed the “Planet Of Psychotic Women” film) performed as well.

You can watch the film at Rudy’s My Space page plus his own coverage of the Halloween program he put on that i ncluded a band and a costume contest.
