Mari-Lynn Evans, a native of Bulltown, Braxton County, WV has announced that her film “Coal Country” will be airing on national cable, Planet Green, a Discovery Channel, on November 14th as part of the “Reel Impact” series. Other great films to be shown include Al Gore’s “Inconventient Truth,” Leonardo DiCaprio’s “The Eleventh Hour,” Werner Herzog’s “Grizzly Man” and  ”Who Killed the Electric Car?”.

There will be many other showings around the country including a showing at The WV Filmmakers Festival in Sutton on October 3rd. Ms. Evans will be flying in from San Francisco the day before her homecoming event. The film will be shown in her current hometown of Akron, Ohio on September 12th. It will be shown again in Charleston, sponsored by the Sierra Club, on October 9th.
